The Sajjadanashin (Gaddinashin) Sahib Known as "Sajjadanashin Sahib" is thus the direct descendant of Hazrat Khwaja Garib Nawaz (R.A) as has been recognized,which came into existence in 1863 AD. The Present Dewan Sahib Sheikhul Mashaeikh Dewan Syed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan Sahib is the direct descendant of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti R.A, in the twenty second (22nd ) generation. Khwaja Saheb is the eleventh (11th ) generation descendant (Great Grand-son) of Hazrat Imam Hasan Alaihissalam R.A. and the fourteenth (14th ) generation descendant of Hazrat Imam Hussain Alaihissalam R.A.. | The annual URS Sharif (yearly fair) to commemorate the Death of Huzoor Garib Nawaz (R.A) and the URS Sharif of Hazrat Khwaja Usman Harwani (R.A) who was the Peer-o-Murshid (Spiritual master) of Huzoor Garib Nawaz (R.A), the “Jumerat-Mehfil” Thursday of every week and the “Chhatti Sharif” sixth date of each Muslim month are marked with various traditional rituals in all of which are presides over by Sajjadanashin Sahib Sheikhul Mashaeikh Dewan Syed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan Sahib of Dargah Sharif, Ajmer.
These powers are passes over from generation to generation in the hands of sitting Dewan sahib of the time. These rituals include presiding over the Mehfil-e-Qawwali or Samaa (a congregation in which verses in praise of Almighty Allah , Prophet Muhammad Sahib(SAWS) and the Saints & sages of Chishtiya’s are recited ) . The time of Mehfil during the URS Sharif is after Namaz-e-Isha (the Last namaz of the day) onwards. These congregations are chiefly Miscellaneous Services. FACTS This Fact has not only been declared in the Annual Reports of 1942 to 1944 ,1956 to 1957 , and 1957 to 1958 of Dargah committee but also much earlier before this committee came into existence, by all the communities and Rulers of Ajmer Sharif , who have accepted and honored this factual truth the status and family lineage of Dewan Sahib. Owing to the fact, the position, status and post that bear a stamp of authorities since time immemorial cannot be changed by any rival groups opposite faction or a gang of mischief mongers. Both the state as well as central made decision by the Privy Council , London ,that was published in Ajmer Merwara Law Journal , 1932 ,and that is mentioned by Privy council in A.I.R. 1938 Privy council page nos.71 ,72 and 73 and which is as follows, This declaration is in confirmation with the orders of the Emperor Shah Jahan dated 1629 AD. it was again confirmed in a declaration made in 1936, which was made to exhibit that Sajjadanashin (Dewan Sahib) is the son in the coming (one after another) generation of Huzoor Garib Nawaz (R.A) and has been accepted as the legal heir to the Gaddi (seat) of Dargah Khwaja Moinuddin chisty (R.A) which is an authentic evidence in itself to prove the legal claim of the present Dewan Sahib to the seat of Sajjadanashin of Dargah, Ajmer Sharif. The decision clearly states that during the reign of the Emperor Shah Jahan, the Post of Mutavalli was declared the servant of Hukumat (the govt.) and was accepted that the Sajjadanashin generation after generation (present Dewan Sahib one of them) has been declared one of the main (Principal) descendant of Khwaja Garib Nawaz( R.A) . The issue was further settled in favors of Dewan Sahib, when the Govt. of Indian constituted Dargah Inquiry committee in its report dated 1950 AD, through a publication that as a Judicial court has accepted the Sajjadanashin Sahib (Dewan Sahib) as not only the direct descendant of Hazrat Garib Nawaz (R.A) but also the post of Sajjadgi has been declared as Hereditary (Moroosi) going down generation after generation of Huzoor Garib Nawaz (R.A). The Supreme Court of India in its Significant decision dated 8th September 1987, published in page no 2213 to 2219 in A.I.R, 1987 AD, through its order decreed as a Permanent fact that Hazrat Sajjadanashin is the descendant of Huzoor Garib Nawaz (R.A) .The present post of Sajjadgi has been accepted as Hereditary and permanently belongs to heirs, generation after generations, down the line of Huzoor Garib Nawaz (R.A). This serves as an ample evidence of authenticity of the present Dewan sahib Sheikhul Mashaeikh Hazrat Dewan Syed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan Sahib to the position of Mutavalli, Sajjadanashin, Dewan -Dargah Ajmer Sharif and as the true heir of Huzoor Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty (R.A) Moreover, the Dargah Committee Ajmer (a govt. body) has been order by the Supreme court of India to comply with its decree. Hence, it is quiet essential for all the Zaireens of Astana Garib Nawaz (R.A), for their correct knowledge that Sajjadanashin (Dewan Sahib) enjoys and holds this position by Virtue of his Legal heir to Huzoor Garib Nawaz (R.A) in the capacity of a direct and true descendant of Huzoor Garib Nawaz (R.A). Dargah Ajmer Sharif will deceive and cheat himself bring his own peril and whatever profits he intends to get by throwing false claim to the above mentioned titles would be absolutely baseless , false , and legality invalid. Although, with all these above cited decisions, the pilgrims (Hazreens and Zaireens) are deceived by telling them that Sajjadanashin (the present Deewan Sahib) is only a Govt. official heir. To Say this is not only to deceive the innocent and ignorant Zaireens but also a clear instance of the disobedience (Toheen) of the Court orders to Veil the reality and an easy way to turn the people against the govt. People should have due regards for the truthful and accept the reality decreed by the courts. The opposite factions have become blind due to selfishness and are unable to see the truth and fundamental reality. The opponents must realize and understand these facts; their opposition is completely illegal and based on falsehood. It is the spiritual, moral and legal duty of one and all, including Dargah employees and faithful towards Sheikhul Mashaeikh Hazrat Dewan Zainul Abedin Ali Khan Sahib, who is the truthful and legal heir of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan chishty (R.A).
